Not sure what I am doing today beyond what I did already. I am still feeling like my head weighs 1000 lbs. Allergies are terrible. Can’t stand it. Took Benadryl and it knocks me out, but I can breathe a little better.

Another lazy day ahead. I may try to write, I don’t know. Hard to do anything with the kids home from school. I have been typing up what I’ve written in one of my notebooks. I am so close to the end. I need to buckle down and just finish. I never had a book torment me so.

Last night I stayed up late playing through The Beatles on Rock Band. I am loving the Rock Band stuff. It could be that it is very much like the game Simon, which was my favorite as a kid.

Started giving thought to New Years Eve. It will be snack night here. You know shrimp, champagne, etc. What is everyone else doing NYE?

Meanwhile as I live my life (aka enjoying the holidays with my family) I got called a stalker again on my Ex’s FB profile. Not by him. Only way I know is by getting an email saying someone commented on my Christmas greeting post on his Wall. Ugh. Some people seem to look for drama where none exists.

Anyway, I went down to Tally to the mall (Ugh!!) for Build a Bear Workshop with the kids. They enjoyed themselves. No, I did not get a new bear. I did pick up an outfit though–a rocker shirt and jeans. (I have a black bear from a few years ago on my first trip to BABW.) I was going to get the electric guitar, but my daughter wanted it. As it was the only one they had, I let her have it. We had a great time with my brother. We even went to GameStop to take advantage of the buy 2 get one free used game sale they had going on. I got a RockBand track pack, a Wall-E game, and Guitar Heroes game. I thought I read the GH game was compatible with the RB guitar, but I tried it and it didn’t work. I may have to take the game back and exchange it for something else. Bummer. I’ll check online to see if there is compatibility issues. Ugh. It is always something.

We played RB2 with the kids later and had the hubby get in on it. The kids love the singing, especially when they can hear themselves on the TV. LOL It was a whole lot of fun. A good family game. I am glad I got it for us. Tonight I played the Beatles for RB and I like it. I am doing pretty good on the guitar. I suck at the drums, but the guitar…I rock. LOL I do want to get some of The Beatles on my iPod. I used to have them on cassette tapes…

Everyone have a good Christmas? I did. My kids were practically bouncing off the walls the entire day. The dolls were a hit. Rock Band 2 was a hit with the adults. Ahem. Me. I love it. The kids played with my brother (on No Fail mode) and I laughed at how bad he sang. And I thought some of the Karaoke folks I’ve heard were bad. I tried the drums, bass and guitar. I am actually good at the guitar. It is really very very fun. I gave The Beatles RB game to the hubby, but we haven’t played it yet. We are still trying to learn how to play. (He was teasing me that he expected 100% accurate….yeah, not gonna happen.)

Got a weird message today. Someone on Facebook wrote a reply to something I sent to my ex-bf–a Christmas Greetings card I sent out to all my entire FB list. The message was rude…asking if I liked him or something, and that he was married…then called me a stalker. Wow. I’m a stalker for sending a Christmas card on FB? Amazing. Uh, no. Hardly. Of all the people in the world to stalk, he’d be the least likely candidate. Pfft…please.

Saturday I am going to Build a Bear Workshop with the kids. My brother is treating them. He offered me to do it too, but I have 2 already, and they get stolen by the kids. LOL I get them back eventually–sans the clothes.It will be a fun day out. Anything for the kids right?

I’m not overly chatty lately.It is partly the holiday and partly from allergies flaring up. Went to the doctor’s today and everything is fine. I didn’t even have elevated BP, which is always good. So I must be handling things okay.

Tomorrow night I have quite the spread planned. Got cheese and then chocolate fondue on the menu, which is a lot of fun. I did it last year and the kids loved it. Heck, I liked it.

I still have to wrap some presents before tomorrow night.I guess I will do some tonight once the kids go to bed. I really don’t want to do it all tomorrow night.

The kids are so excited for Christmas. They are balls of pure adrenaline. The Wii helps a little. I had to go out and get a SkipDr to fix a few of the Wii game discs yesterday just so they had those to play with. LOL I will be glad once they get their gifts. I love watching them get all happy opening presents on Christmas morning.

I ordered Rock Band 2 through Gamestop the other day. I expect it to be delivered tomorrow. At least I hope it comes by tomorrow. (It should be delivered today.) It was my splurge for the family this year. I bought The Beatles game to go with it too.

The day after Christmas we are going to take the kids to Build a Bear, my brother’s treat. That should be fun. The girls love BABW.
