Ahhh Panama…

After fighting a bout of a stomach virus (much to the amusement of friend
Annmanrie Ortega), I was able to get back to work today. Too bad I was too sick to write while home sick. Anyway, today I thought over my current project, a short for Harlequin’s
Undone ebook line. I think I need to rewrite the beginning so it flows smoother. After doing my research on the morning of Pearl Harbor, I see mistakes in what I wrote already. Grr. Don’t you hate that, knowing something is wrong? Well, I’m not going to let it get me down. I’m reworking the beginning so I can get into the story flow. I want this short done before I head to Panama City Beach in February for a Writer’s Retreat with
FPHRW. (I can’t wait until the trip. Who cares if I can’t go swim, it’s the beach!! And no kids. Whoohoo!)
I did come up with titles for these two projects. My Pearl Harbor short is entitled Honor After Dawn, and the connected novel is entitled A Soldier’s Honor. I have a basic idea of the novel, but it looks like I may need to do some plotting during the retreat.
