I have a new story out, Tie Me Up and Spank Me. It is included in the anthology from Sizzler Editions, Bound for Love: Tales of the Ties that Bind. Bondage obviously. Mine may be the only FemDom story in the collection. Here’s the blurb for the book:

Most people would think that the world of being tied up, whipped and ordered around like a slave and the world of flowers and romance are two different worlds that could never go hand in hand. Yet, in truth many of our most intense moments of lovemaking include elements of bondage or bdsm – mental or physical. Some even say there is nothing more romantic and precious than the surrender of a sub to a dom. When explicit trust leads to intimacy, a greater connection occurs between the participants. The stories in this collection focus on the romantic aspect of the bdsm lifestyle. But it also has something to say to everyone – for while only some may be tops and bottoms in a dungeon, we are all tops and bottoms in love. In the collection’s first story Gianna Simone take us through a situation that seems destined to tear a longtime dominant and submissive apart. Then PM White shows that bdsm can create a connection that transcends time and space. Next Marianne LaCroix portrays the depth of love a sissy bitch can have for his strict, demanding Mistress. Oceania shows us profound romance in a session of foot tickling. Margie Church and newcomer K. B. Cutter wonder can a dominant male learn to switch – if it’s for the one he loves? Plus six more masterful stories about romance in the world of dominance and submission and people who are bound for love.

I’m not writing too much at the moment. I’m concentrating on finding a job still…a job to secure a steady paycheck. I had two interviews last week, and I believe I was hired on the spot for the one. (They didn’t ask me if I wanted it, they just assumed. Odd, I know.) The other one is the job I want, but I will find out about Thursday if I got it. I have a feeling I did. We will see. If I don’t, I have the other offer I can accept.

I haven’t finished my 1-800-DOM-help story yet. I haven’t been inspired to write on it. Hopefully once I am secure financially (ie have a job) I can get back to enjoying writing.

VAMPIRES LIKE IT ROUGH

Sizzler Editions/Intoxication, our premium imprint for erotic romance, is seeking romantic BDSM stories featuring dark and sexy vampires for our upcoming anthology, Vampires Like It Rough.

Books, movies and television abound with sexy blood sucking vampires. These dark creatures of the night allure audiences into their world of darkness with magnetic sexual prowess. Add in some kinky fun (i.e. D/s, bondage, impact play, rubber/latex/leather, ball gags, BITING, strap-ons, and so on), and you have vampires who really like it hot and rough.

Stories may include a variety of BDSM elements beyond those mentioned above. Push the boundaries. We want vampires getting their kink on, but remember the BDSM should bring the characters closer together in their romantic and sexual relationship. Sex must be explicit but also hook the reader as a deep bonding experience for the characters.

Stories for Vampires Like It Rough should be 4-9k in length with three essential requirements: (1) at least one vampire main character; (2) a romantic plotline focusing on a relationship development, and (3) BDSM elements. All stories must contain a HEA ending.

We seek unpublished submissions though we will consider reprints.

Deadline: March 30th 2012
The advance payment against a prorated share of the royalties will be $25 for stories under 5000 words and $35 for stories over 5000.

Publisher acquires World English language rights only for the use of story in the above anthology for a term of seven years; however one year after the story first appears as an ebook, author may publish said story in other anthologies. Author retains all other rights including the right to reprint said story in collections of the author’s own work beginning six months after the appearance of said story in the above title anthology.

Submit to vampireeroticaantho@gmail.com in RTF format, single spaced, 14 point Times New Roman, and a .3 indentation on each paragraph. Make sure to put Vampires Like It Rough Anthology submission in the subject line of your email.

Happy New Year to all.

This month is super busy so far. I had edits to complete for Tie Me Up and Spank Me, my short included in the Sizzler Editions anthology Bound For Love. I am happy about joining Sizzler and working with my pal Sascha. He is a real trip. I am awaiting on line edits for Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? and I hope to have a release date soon. (I’m sending in contracts this week!)

I’m finishing up my 1-800-DOM-help novella. (A novella which is going to be damn close to a short novel length. I am trying to not be so wordy to stay within the word count limit.) I’m calling the novella Leather Becomes Her but I doubt that will be the title. (I saw a newish book on EC called Submission Becomes Her. Bet I will be told to think of something else.)

I’m also planning a 3 novella collection of hot Regencies I hope to shop around to agents. I have a particular publisher in mind for it. I really haven’t tried for NY, but I’m motivated to get going on trying.

I’ve been deeply depressed for a long time. I haven’t had out much over the past few years. I think it began shortly after I completed Crossed Swords, which is still my favorite of my books to date. I had a hard time writing even though I did write, but not steadily. My creativity came in waves. I am feeling better these days and have found inspiration to pull up my platform high heel boots and get to serious work to rise again. I am pretty happy in epublishing as I have full control over my creativity, but it would be nice to say I did actually make a full effort to advance.

I’m making some life changes to help me start anew. One of those changes is working on my writing career as well as going back to nursing. I am an LPN and have started looking for a steady job to pay the bills as I make my way up the ladder in my writing career. I think with more control I will feel a whole lot better. I already do!

Okay, that is the January update. Check back next month for the next when Bound for Love is released!
