Writing today…after some cleaning

Okay, about to head into cleaning mode for a few hours and then I’m writing for the rest of the day. I’m thinking of heading over to Grassroots to write on the Smartbook.

I have to say, my husband is so awesome. And funny in a weird way. I was talking to him this morning about my book, and I needed to brainstorm for a dark moment in the book. What does he say? “A dark moment, isn’t that when you turn off the light?” Ugh. Aside from the bad joke that warranted a smack, he did come up with an excellent plot twist that I’m going to use. He’s awesome, even if he likes bad jokes.

(Note: He came up with “The Bacon Brothers” in Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? The Bacon Brothers are, of course, the three little pigs.)

To the left is a current picture of my little Mittens.  She was on the couch with me last night as I watched a few reruns of Criminal Minds. Isn’t she the cutest thing? Yesterday I let her roam the house while I went out to get the kids and then take them to McD’s (so they could get one of the Madagascar penguins). When we got home, we had to search for her before letting in the doggies. Where did I find her? laying in the middle of my bed. Truly a creature of comfort. As you can see here, that is definitely a comfy cat.
