Good morning on this dreary Sunday
I started reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies yesterday. Link: Quirk Classics What a hoot. Darcy noticing Elizabeth for her zombie slaying skills. Love it. You know, I really like the cover to this book. I have an idea for a twist on a classic, but the one I want to do is so looooong already. They have a prequel coming to PPZ called Dawn of the Dreadfuls. I also saw the author Seth Grahame-Smith is coming out with another twist novel, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. No, I am serious! I totally want to write a classic twist… I need to go through the Project Gutenberg for more ideas.

When I am done reading PPZ, I plan on reading a few Blazes I got this past week from the Reader Service. The Christmas themed ones. The one by Hope Tarr, Twelve Nights, a Blaze Historical, looks extremely fun. A Laird wants to bed his bride-to-be before their wedding night, so he tantalizes her in attempts to seduce her. However at some point, her “dead” first husband shows up very much alive. I really love Hope’s books, and I’m sure this will be full of laughs.
I met Hope a few times in the past, once when I was just starting out, and then later we hung out at the bar in Atlanta with a few mutual friends (ie. pal Teri Ridgell). Hope is so pretty, so cute. She could model for a romance cover herself. Her and Joanne Rock. Knock outs.
Yes, I have to finish cleaning my living room today. Ugh. That is if I can keep the kids from dragging out their toys into the living room and making a mess. After Thanksgiving, I am hitting their room and going through that disaster area. Hey, if they want new toys, we got to get rid of the ones they don’t play with anymore.
I love the Blazes. I wonder if they have an ebook reader service. I am overrun with paperbacks and no where to put them.
