Read Eye of the Storm yesterday, another Spice Brief. It was good…another menage plot but this time a threesome. A woman has a tryst in Jamaica a year prior and returns on her birthday (during a hurricane) to meet up with her lover. Only this time, his friend wants her too. Will she go for a threesome? Hmmm… Uh, yeah.  

Right now I am reading Sheikh Surgeon on my eBookwise. The book is a Harlequin Presents. I loved the line, but I haven’t read one in a while. I bought it a few months ago. I think the author is a member of Heartbeat RWA and she recently sold to Harlequin Medicals. In starting this book, that is the line where this one should have gone. (Don’t quote me on all this. I bought it months ago.) I joined Heartbeat back when I was working at the doctor’s office. I was planning a medical themed Blaze series, but that idea has been put on hold. I still check in on the chapter, but I’m not overly active.

You know, I do really want a Kindle.

I just HAD to repost this. I am on the same thought as Emily. Who would actually do this–post a YouTube video on how EC books improved their sex life in detail–and so they can win a prize? I have books at EC, but I definitely don’t agree with some of their Marketing methods (ie condom “lollipops” on the tables at RT). This one really…wow…wow

The entries on Youtube have to be modestly titled: How Ellora’s Cave Improved My Sex Life: Your Name and are used as content by http://sextalkforwickedwomen.blogspot.com/ and the grand prize is a $100 Ellora’s Cave gift voucher. As efforts to harness the power of social networking go, you could not call this subtle.

Right now I’m exhausted. I’ve been up since 630a because of my kids…and then I cleaned. I’m so not housewife material. Anyway, no major post today.

Something about the rugged Scotsman in Ewan that makes me … *sigh dreamily*  It’s the foreign man syndrome. I love a man with an accent.

And the ad for the cologne above (I cut out the cologne) is just… oh so sexy Scottish male. Not to mention when he smiles, he is just adorable.

 

Read Wet by Lauren Hawkeye. Another strange POV–first person present. I like first person, but present? This was my first book by this author. I wasn’t too crazy about the storyline…the whole getting wrapped up in a foursome while on vacation, but it worked for the SP line.

OMG

I was soooo in love with Rick Springfield back in the early 80s. He played guitar and rocked something fierce. He still does. I would love to go see him perform live at least once. Looks like he IS touring, so that is very cool. He came to Valdosta’s Wild Adventures years ago and I had to work that night. Damn! Hope he comes nearby again, ’cause I totally want to go!

This week was his 60th birthday. Wow! Still friggin’ hot!
