Pain, pain, go away. Don’t come back another day.
The weekend of the retreat, I was driving home with friend Amber Green when I was suddenly struck with sharp pain to my lower left abdomen. I thought it was a cyst popping. It hurt. Hurt Bad. I considered going to the hospital but after a while, the pain decreased. Then this week, the pain started again. More continuous. I made an appointment with my GYN and he ordered an ultrasound. Then today I go to work, but I can’t function. I hurt too much. So, I go to get my ultrasound early, but they can’t fit me in. So, I go to the ER. I hurt. I want to just cut out my insides. They give me something for pain and do an ultrasound and a CT. What did they find?
A large clot in my uterus. I had an ablation a year and a half ago and my period stopped. Why do I have a big clot now? It’s the only abnormality they found. So, I’m on antibiotics (precautionary) and pain meds. They don’t know what to do with me. I am genuinely having pain, but is this clot in my uterus causing the pain?
My thoughts: I need a hysterectomy. A clot in an ablated (cauderized) uterus is not supposed to be there. I don’t want another D&C. I’m done with the female problems. I don’t want to be in pain anymore.
